What We Do:
We focus on mental health and wellness in the law - law firms and law schools. We know this world from all angles, as a law firm associate, partner, law professor, as well as from the perspective of a mental health advocate and someone who has experienced depression, anxiety, and burnout. We offer keen insight, passionate advocacy, and practical tools, with an eye on the big picture cultural and workplace issues from all involved stakeholders.
Services:
(1) Outsourced Director of Well-Being, specifically tailored for medium and small sized law firms who do not have the resources to hire a full-time Director of Well-Being like certain BigLaw firms do. In this consulting role, we can assist with setting up a Firm’s Wellness Program, practices, policies, and procedures, and assist in on-going programming, education, training, and culture change.
(2) Attorney and Law Student Education and Training, focused not only on the mental illness side of mental health, but also on the positive aspects of mental health that are critical to performance and satisfaction.
(3) Consulting with Law Firms on developing and improving policies, procedures, and structural changes focused on staff well-being, wellness and mental health.
(4) 1 on 1 Executive Coaching and Leadership Training for Executives and Law Firm Partners and Leaders.
(5) Curated and Recommended Providers and Partners for Add on Services, including therapy, fitness, sleep hygiene, mindfulness/meditation, etc.,
(6) Creative Thought Leadership and Mental Health and Wellness Advocacy
Alongside mental health, we also focus on diversity and inclusion, authentic leadership, bringing your whole self to work, and positive relational health and relationships and connections. These things are all tightly connected.
This venture grew organically out of my own experience with depression as a law firm associate and partner, as well as a presentation I gave years ago called “Lawyering While Human,” on bringing your whole and authentic self to work.
